Origin Pool is a site-specific immersive installation created for brands, institutions and wellness-focused spaces that want to offer something rare: time, presence and emotional depth.
Visitors don’t simply look at the artwork — they enter it. Warm water, enveloping light and spatial sound work together to create a calm, introspective environment where people can slow down, disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with themselves.
Origin Pool at DAMU
REUKO’s groundbreaking 3D installation is unveiled at DAMU, The Mandrake’s new wellness sanctuary. From May 16, DAMU launches Inner Spectrum I — a striking video art installation by Norway-based artist Reuko. With his works connecting to millions around the world through his otherworldly blend of landscape cinematography and luminescent 3D particle sculptures, Reuko’s focus is to reconnect the soul with nature by revealing a hidden world of light and energy within our own.
Housed within DAMU, The Mandrake’s newly launched spa inspired by the Sumerian god of healing and transformation, Reuko’s immersive particle sculpture will be suspended above the Origin Pool — a world-first zero-gravity pool. Here, warm, mineral-rich water merges with low-frequency vibrational therapy, chromotherapy, projection artwork, and ambient soundscapes to deliver a deeply sensorial experience that evokes rebirth, euphoria, and holistic renewal.
Reuko’s piece Inner Spectrum I presents a nascent journey through the awakening of our senses — reconnecting our sensorial experience with the vital, beating heart of the natural world. Inspired by satellite imagery of global weather systems and his experience with the powerfully calming and healing effects of immersing in nature, the work explores repeating patterns found in our natural environments. Observing the fluid movement of oceans, rivers, and air currents stretching across the globe, a sense of harmony is felt as these elements echo within our own bodies and spirits. A portrait of vibrant energy, ever-changing and oscillating in form and spectra.

The experience
Guests step into a darkened, circular pool. Above them, generative visuals bloom across the ceiling like liquid constellations, evolving and dissolving in continuous motion. The soundscape wraps around the room, felt as much as heard, reinforcing a sense of suspension and weightlessness.
There is no clear beginning or end — only presence. The experience naturally encourages:

Creative & technical approach
Origin Pool is built with real-time generative systems rather than pre-rendered video. Visuals are created live, allowing the installation to behave like a living organism instead of a fixed show.
