Margo Trushina in talk with Artdott
Margo Trushina, the graduate of The Royal College of Arts in London, recreates fragile natural landscapes in her exhibitions through the integration of biotechnology and sources of different origins; her video art is a continuation of her artistic practices. She projects personal bodily experiences on materials and organic substances creating chimera of breathing organisms which constitute the new nature’s reality and call for an ethical response as new life forms.Her work was presented at the @royalacademyarts (London), @museodartecontemporanea (Turin), 5th @moscowbiennale, IK LAB Gallery (Tulum, Mexico) and many others. She is a finalist of the Broomhill National Sculpture Award @broomhillestate, UK, 2016 and a Winner of the Ruinart Art Patronat Grant from @cosmoscow.foundation, Russia, 2020.
