Margo Trushina is a British video and multimedia artist. She is a graduate of The Royal College of Art (London) and The Chelsea College of Art and Design. Margo is a finalist of The Broomhill National Sculpture Prize (2016) and Ruinart Art Patronat winner (2020) of Cosmoscow Foundation. In her work, Margo Trushina explores the intersection of bioart and new materialist ethics. Her video and NFT art explores direct interspecies relationships as her way to address current environmental challenges. Engaging with the diversity of agents entangled and intertwined with each other the artist actualises such interactions and neglected communication with the view to inspire new forms of perception, similar to what Laura U. Marks calls empathic non understanding.
